Selectboard

The Selectboard is commonly the executive arm of the government of New England towns in the United States. The Bridport Selectboard consists of five members, with staggered terms.  Selectboard members serve part-time, with a token salary. In Bridport, as in most New England towns, the adult voting population gathers annually in a town meeting to act as the local legislature, approving budgets and laws.   The Selectboard meets the second Monday evening of each month at the Town Offices at 6 p.m.
